Welcome to Yummy Goodness!
So what is my blog all about? It’s about celebrating delicious, healthy and nutritious foods and recipes that are free from gluten, dairy and sugar. Embracing this lifestyle means surrounding yourself with amazing foods – lots of vegetables, fruits, quality proteins, nuts, seeds, healthy oils, plant-based dairy alternatives, gluten free grains and superfoods. There is such a wide variety of foods to choose from and lots of interesting and delicious foods to try that you probably haven’t tried before.
Eating no gluten, no dairy and no sugar has totally transformed my life.
I want to share my recipes and healthy tips with you to make it easier for you to live a lifestyle that is full of foods that your body will love. I have found that just by eating this way so many things in my life have changed for the better. Fuelling my body well has resulted in positive changes in my thinking, my outlook on life, my confidence and in the way I look. It also re-ignited my passion for cooking.
I love good food. I love buying it, I love cooking it and I absolutely love eating it.
I also think it’s important for food to look really appetising and vibrant. I love the way good food can bring people together. Sharing a great meal with friends and loved ones creates memories that will last a lifetime. So, I will be sharing my successes in the kitchen with you – the ones that taste great, look great and are kind to your body. I have a Thermomix so, in most cases, I will be sharing two versions of each recipe with you – a version for using a Thermomix and a version for other conventional methods.
It’s stating the obvious that this lifestyle has been life changing for me. I am really passionate about sharing delicious, healthy and nutritious food and the tips and tricks I have learnt so you can have confidence to eat foods that are free from gluten, dairy and sugar. I hope you will come on this journey with me so you can discover your own version of a healthy life. This is really important to me. It is my hope that each of us can listen to our bodies and figure out what works for us as individuals so we can be the most authentic, healthiest and happiest you and me.
